OKA

O OKA é um aplicativo para celular voltado à ampliação do acesso a serviços por

migrantes, refugiados, solicitantes de refúgio e deslocados internos. O OKA possui

informação geo localizada sobre serviços oferecidos por repartições públicas federais, estaduais, municipais e, na primeira fase, informações sobre atendimentos locais nos municípios do Rio de Janeiro e Boa Vista.

Além de apresentar os serviços existentes em território brasileiro, o aplicativo contém

explicação dos requisitos necessários para acessá-los, inclusive no que diz respeito à

documentação. Os programas mapeados pelo OKA abrangem as seguintes categorias:

moradia, educação, saúde, assistência social, assistência jurídica, incluindo também

contatos para que o usuário possa buscar ajuda em situações de emergência.

O aplicativo está disponível de forma gratuita em português, espanhol e francês.

OKA is a mobile application aimed at increasing access to services by

migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs. OKA has

geo information on services offered by federal, state and municipal public agencies and, in the first phase, information on local services in the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro and Boa Vista.

In addition to presenting the services existing in Brazil, the application contains

explanation of the requirements necessary to access them, including with regard to the

documentation. The programs mapped out by OKA cover the following categories:

housing, education, health, social assistance, legal assistance, including

contacts so the user can seek help in emergency situations.

The application is available for free in Portuguese, Spanish and French.
